Arrival

Thailand has a good transport infrastructure if you need to travel around the country. Most people arrive into Bangkok Suvarnabhumi airport as their entry point into the country. Through ticketing is available with Thai Airways and with the highly rated Bangkok Airways (must be with a code share partner). These will also allow a break of journey in Bangkok.

Internal flights

Thai and Bangkok Airways are the only airlines offering domestic connections from the main airport. Low cost airlines use Bangkok’s second airport, Don Muang. We can add extra domestic sectors to any multi stop itinerary, for example to visit Chiang Mai in the north. Flights from Bangkok to Phuket/Koh Samui/Krabi/Chiang Mai are all about 1 hour duration with frequent services.

Transfers

To get to/from the airports, we recommend a private transfer as the easiest and fastest way to get to your hotel with your luggage. Pre-booked transfers are inexpensive and avoid lengthy ‘negotiating’ with taxi drivers. Hua Hin can be reached directly from Bangkok by road in approximately 3 hours.

Islands

For access to the islands, Phuket and Koh Samui both have airports. Mainland Krabi also has an airport but some resorts are accessible only by boat. For Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta, a speed boat transfer can be arranged from Krabi or Phuket and to Koh Phangan from Koh Samui. Shared or private boat transfers are available.
