Koh Yao is actually two islands: Koh Yao Noi and Koh Yao Yai. Located opposite the Phang Nga area between Phuket and Krabi, these relaxed family friendly islands are a world away from the energy of Phuket for those looking for that authentic, relaxing Thai beach experience.

With high standard boutique options on both islands, you just have to choose which one. Separated by a 10-20 minute boat trip you can choose to spend time on both larger Yai and smaller Noi.
