Hua Hin, situated on a long stretch of golden sand on the South China Sea coast, is the original resort area in Thailand. It attracts families and spa aficionados and is still the venue of choice for the greatly revered Thai Royal family. Hua Hin is a retreat destination and attracts large numbers of Thais. Whilst the beaches are less spectacular than those further south, the spa treatments are amongst the best in the country.
A multitude of spa treatments are available as well as programmes featuring yoga, martial arts and cookery. Excursions can also be easily made to the famous floating markets and the River Kwai town of Kanchanburi. The proximity to Bangkok (3 hours by road) makes getting here easy and it can be added as part of a multi centre itinerary
